Embracing teaching and learning

Moondani Toombadool means ‘embracing teaching and learning’ in the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri People. Established in 2018, the Moondani Toombadool Centre handles all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander matters at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app.

This includes governance, student services, teaching and learning, research, staff, culture and engagement. At ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app, we're committed to institutional transformation and believe that the self-determination and knowledges of our Indigenous people form the foundation for leading educational change.

Our vision: Moondani Toombadool Centre is a transformational leader grounded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges.

Acknowledgement of Country

We respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, who are the Traditional Owners of the land on which ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app’s Australian campuses are located in Melbourne’s east and outer-east, and pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.

We are honoured to recognise our connection to Wurundjeri Country, history, culture and spirituality through these locations, and strive to ensure that we operate in a manner that respects and honours the Elders and Ancestors of these lands.

We also acknowledge and respect the Traditional Owners of lands across Australia, their Elders, Ancestors, cultures and heritage.
